The U.S. International Trade Commission is opening an investigation into claims that Motorola's Droid, Droid 2, and other smartphones are infringing on several Apple patents.

The Federal Communications Commission is considering allowing the public to send text messages to 911 in case of an emergency.

Trees placed closest to Wi-Fi radiation showed a "lead like" shine on leaves, as well as the death of leaves' lower and upper epidermis, Dutch researchers say.
