If you enable file sharing in OS X, you may see a number of available share points when you connect to your Mac, which might have some people concerned about the Mac being too accessible by default.

If you have a system that you allow other people to use, you may at times want to be able to see when others have logged in to your system. Here is one way to do this in OS X.

Sometimes applications in OS X that usually launch quickly may take longer to load. There can be a variety of reasons for this, including how frequently the program is launched, and problems with items in various system libraries.
While you can rename files in OS X by clicking on their name, some people might experience a significant delay from when the name is clicked to when it can be edited. Here is how to adjust this delay.
