A father of the Internet, Vint Cerf says he never anticipated the world would need more than 4 billion IP addresses.

This week's Ask Maggie answers reader questions about using MS Office suite on iPhones and Androids, ditching broadband for the iPhone Wi-Fi feature, and when Sprint will get the iPhone.

The number of people using Web-based e-mail fell 6 percent in November from a year earlier, while the number of folks tapping into mobile e-mail grew 36 percent.

In an ad that doesn't even speak the iPhone name, Verizon plays on the seemingly endless anticipation for its version of Apple's smartphone.
Riding a surge of interest in its Android-based devices, the Taiwanese mobile phone maker sees a sharp rise in fourth-quarter revenue and earnings.
