Will consumers be choosing between an iPad and a laptop? Tempting holiday laptop deals at stores like Best Buy at least raise the possibility.

Open-source figurehead Richard Stallman, who has spoken out about his disdain for cloud computing in the past, extends his criticism to Chrome OS in a recent interview.
