Sometimes software installations may fail in OS X, which can be caused by faults with the installation media or by improper system set-ups.

Getting information on files is useful when managing and organizing them. There are several options available for people to do this in OS X, depending on the extent of information you need about your files.

Some users run into a "podcast cannot be played on this iPhone" error when trying to download certain content. There are some potential reasons for this and a couple of workarounds to try.
Terminal users may find it useful to open the current Finder window in the Terminal and open the current Terminal working directory in the Finder. Some options.
