Qualcomm has been using the lower 700MHz band for its Flo TV service, due to be shut down. Now AT&T is ready to acquire the spectrum licenses in a $1.925 billion deal.

While it isn't available yet, CNET got an advance look at the Samsung Suede, which will run Cricket Wireless' new music OS for cell phones.

Pfc. Jose Rivera, posted to Afghanistan, believes he was told by AT&T that for an extra $4.95 a month, he could make international calls to his wife. Instead, AT&T says he now owes $16,000.
