San Francisco-based start-up specializing in mobile device security raises $19.5 million and hints at iPhone app coming in 2011.

The Mobile Marketing Association is working on new privacy guidelines among its members to better define what information is collected from consumers and how it's used.

Company adds warning in search results when a site appears to be compromised, even if it's not actually downloading malware to visitors' computers.

With an updated engine and closer integration with Windows Firewall, the latest version of Microsoft's free anti-malware software is out of beta status.
Using a single sign-in service like Login for Facebook can eliminate the need to remember multiple passwords, but you still have to make sure you don't get phished.
