| | | Note to the Software Publishers from Peggy Yu Director, Business Development | I hope this finds you all well and immersed in holiday fesivities. While I bask in the glorious San Francisco sun, I am simultaneously preparing myself for the winter wonderland that awaits me in Chicago. I cannot wait for the frigid snow! However, the snow must wait as we wrap up 2010. It's been an eventful year for the Download.com team! First, it was our hope that you would get to know all the folks that work on Download.com better - hence the introduction of the product teams in San Francisco and Moscow, as well as our frantically busy editors based in San Francisco. Our goal in 2010 was also to showcase more of our fantastic software publishers and we did that with the various stories and bios - we will continue to do that in 2011. 2010 also brought a new program to help our software publisehers sell on Download.com. This program is really in its infancy, but you will see a far larger rollout in 2011. We'll discuss more later on in this newsletter - as well as future newsletters. We look forward to selling with you on Download.com in 2011. Finally, it looks like January 2011 will be all about Las Vegas. Our team will be at both CES and Affiliate Summit West - if you will be there as well, please let us know. We would love to meet you. As 2010 comes to close, our team wishes you and yours a joyous holiday season and we look forward to another year of successful partnership. Happy Holidays! Peggy P.S. Please note, our offices will be closed from 12/24/10 to 12/31/10. We will have very limited support during this time, but we will get back to you as quickly as possible in 2011. | Meet us in Las Vegas! We'll be at 2011 International CES and at the Affiliate Summit West 2011 this year and would love to schedule a time to meet you. Fortunately, these two events are back to back this year unlike many of the previous years, which makes it much easier for everyone's travel plans. As always, CNET's team of reporters and reviewers will be at CES covering technology's next big thing and previewing thousands of products before they are released to the public. You can go here to follow our editors as they bring you complete CES 2011 coverage from beginning to the end! If you plan to be at either or both of these events, please email us, so we can schedule a time to meet with you. | 2011 International CES, January 6 -- 9, 2011, Las Vegas, NV | | Affiliate Summit West 2011, January 9 -- 11, 2011, Las Vegas, NV | Last chance to get featured on CNET for developing with Windows 7 Many of you have already taken advantage of this opportunity and have submitted your complete form to us, so thank you! If you have not yet submitted your product for consideration, it's not too late as we have extended the deadline to December 20, 2010. For those of you, who are new to Upload.com, here is the lowdown - CNET and Windows 7 have partnered together to offer an exciting and unique opportunity for software publishers to be featured in the Microsoft-sponsored showcase on CNET Download.com.
