When emptying the trash in OS X, the progress bar may appear to hang. Sometimes this may be because of a hung process, but other times it may be normal behavior.

Some routers require passwords in a particular format. Users may find that after entering a password for a WEP Internet connection, their AirPort menu bar icon shows an exclamation mark.

Our utilities update report is a list of updates for Mac utilities that have been released in the past week. This week there are only a few updates for filesystem utilities and a popular maintenance utility.

The clipboard in OS X and other operating systems is exceptionally useful; however, it is limited in functionality. Despite this, there are other ways to quickly handle text that can be just as useful.
Apple's initial AirPrint offerings for iOS were rather limited, but HP has expanded the options today by enabling six more printer models to use AirPrint technology.
