Sometimes a specific disk image in OS X will automatically mount if a file on it is targeted by the system. Here are some methods for fixing this issue.

As mentioned in an earlier article by MacFixIt's Topher Kessler, users may encounter issues when attempting to download Apps or App updates from the Mac App Store.
