 | | Hybrids go head-to-head in Detroit
At this year's Detroit auto show, Toyota built on the success of the Prius with a new, larger model called the Prius V. But Ford came out slugging with an equally sized transporter, the C-Max Hybrid. And meeting Toyota punch for punch, Ford unveiled a plug-in version of the C-Max Hybrid to compete against Toyota's announced Prius Plug-in. Other highlights of the show included a near-production Honda Civic update and a set of compact SUV concept cars.
