 | | Inappropriate behavior in a Chevy Volt In our role as automotive journalists, we occasionally get to do some really stupid, inappropriate things. Such was the case when Car Tech editor Antuan Goodwin drove a Chevy Volt around the Laguna Seca race track. Just to clarify, this was a GM-approved activity. Laguna Seca is a demanding track with many tight turns that will severely punish excessive speed. That didn't prove to be such a problem with the Volt. Throughout the laps, the Volt stayed in EV mode, an impressive feat in itself, and reached 85 mph on the main straight.
