Though Android still holds a leading 48 percent of all ads viewed on Millennial Media's mobile network, Apple's iOS captured a 31 percent share last month.

Mobile carrier introduces an "unlimited" everything plan for $79.99 a month, $20 cheaper than its closest competitor's offering. The fine print for T-Mobile's deal reveals, however, that the data service is not actually unlimited.

American Express continues its push into the emerging space of mobile purchasing, making a $19 million investment in mobile-payments provider Payfone.

The marketplace now offers over 40,000 apps--an "eight-fold" increase year over year, according to Nokia.
The gadgets will be running Symbian Anna, which Nokia says will be the standard on a number of upcoming phones, even as Windows Phone 7 looms on the horizon.
